UVAL - Advantage Line

Features

EDPM Applicator Roller - Proprietary EDPM Applicoater Roller allows for flawless transfer of UV coatings. Specifically designed to maximize flow while preventing formation of texture in the UV coating application, these rollers meet the high demands of the UV industry for sheet fed equipment. Superior wear characteristics resist impression set by preventing track lines from forming on the roller.

Doctor Blade System - Rigid doctor blade system applies even pressure across entire roll to eliminate hazing and streaks that other wiping squeegees leave behind.

Safety Features - Sheet detectors prevent fires before they start. The system shuts down the UV lamp to actively prevent fires before they have a chance to get started- unlike other systems which only detect a fire once it has started.

Nylon End Dams - FMA uses nylon composite material for greater stability and wear strength - unlike common felt (used by other companies) which degrades and can contaminate the coating.

Main Drive - AC Inverter drive system with electronic overload protection and spring tensioning for smooth operation in forward and reverse.

Easy Access - Closed-loop recirculating UV dispensing system is easy-access for cleaning and re-supply. Cabinet design accepts coating manufacturer's standard 5 gallon pail.
