| A Short History of LSS Digital | <<back to contact | |||||
In the 1970's Ralph Dumoit and Jerry Standley were service technicians for AM Multigraphics and AB Dick, respectively. By chance, they happened to be next door neighbors. After years in the field, Ralph and Jerry knew they could provide better service for their customers if they could "run the show". So, in 1981 they incorporated Litho Supply and Service in Houston, and went to work together. In 1982 they hired their first employee, Rick Bowers. By 1983 Litho Supply and Service finally became an new equipment dealer with its first product line of small duplicator printing presses. Business was going well enough that by 1989, Ralph and Jerry had set down their toolboxes for good. |
As the 1990's progressed and as duplicator presses were replaced by digital printing, Litho Supply and Service kept pace with technology. To better serve the Dallas - Ft. Worth area, Litho Supply and Service opened up a branch office in Mesquite in 2000, with longtime Ladymon Co. employee Gary Neidenbach as the new Division Manager. Finally, in 2001, Litho Supply and Service shed its old name for the more relevant LSS Digital Print-Finishing-Systems. Most people just call us LSS Digital.
